Week in WRAP
This past Friday night at the Christian Center, RSQUARED rocked out for the Camp of Champions group! Camp of Champions is a group of 30+ kids who come to the Christian Center once a month to go bowling and play games in the gym. They are always a lively bunch and love dancing or singing to our music. Noah and I were thinking to ourselves, if only we had our recorders to pass out...(which will be soon!)
Around 9:00PM, after the Camp of Champions had left, we were beginning to pack up our saxophones and other gear. While packing up, out of the corner of my eye I noticed a youngster who looked just like our friend Brandon. Taking a second glance, it was our friend Brandon and his grandpa Bill! Even though they were having car troubles at the airport, they still managed to make it to the Christian Center. After leaving the Christian Center, RSQAURED headed for one of the best ice-cream places in town, Culver's! We enjoyed our time of fellowship with Bill and Brandon and are so blessed to have met these two life-changing individuals. Because most of you have not met Bill and Brandon, I will attach a picture of the four of us from last year (notice Brandon's I Love Jesus shirt, that is awesome!)
Recorder UPDATE:
This weekend, Noah and I have been meticulously searching online to find the best recorder deal! We came across an excellent website that allows for free shipping on orders over 100 recorders, so we plan to make our purchase this week. Then, over our spring break, we will custom design a recorder book RSQAURED style and have them printed and bound. By the end of March or early April, we will be passing out recorders! We will keep you up to date as our plan unfolds.
